Hand Up Charities is a non-profit organization, founded in 2011 by Cynthia Coleman, who was deeply passionate about helping those in need, with a particular focus on single women. Operating without a fixed facility, we are dedicated to serving the homeless community by providing essential needs such as food, clothing, and personal hygiene items.
 
Our mission extends beyond immediate relief as we actively collaborate with other local non-profits to support the transition from homelessness to stable housing. Our long-term goal is to offer permanent housing solutions through transitional and personal housing initiatives.
 
Additionally, we occasionally provide Move-in Ready Bundles to individuals and families who have successfully completed transitional living programs, ensuring they have the necessities to start their new lives in permanent homes. Hand Up Charities is dedicated to empowering the unhoused, offering a hand up to those in need, and helping them achieve lasting stability and self-sufficiency.
